A 6-week, Zoom workshop for the working actor, student, or performing artist.
This hypnotherapy workshop is designed to empower actors by addressing the mental and emotional challenges unique to their craft. Through guided hypnosis and mindfulness techniques, we aim to help participants overcome performance anxiety, build unwavering confidence, and enhance their emotional resilience. This workshop fosters creativity by removing mental blocks and strengthening the connection to intuition, making it easier to access the depth and authenticity required for compelling performances.

Workshop Schedule
Week 1: Relaxation
The first step in any physical endeavor is relaxing. As performers, we have to know what helps us relax and ready to go on stage or set. This week will introduce us to hypnosis and relaxation techniques.
Week 3: Visualization
Once we’ve learned to relax, we can activate the power of visualization. We’ll learn how to see ourselves in any scenario and access our inner resources for the best possible outcome.
Week 5: Embodiment
Our body awareness is the final component of this workshop. We begin to deepen our connection to our body and find ways to relax into it. We form stronger connections that help us express our emotions clearly.
Week 2: Managing Anxiety
Continuing our practice of relaxation, we start to learn how to calm anxiety and stress. We find the ways our mind can use the energy to our advantage and transmute it into a powerful force in our performance.
Week 4: Memorization
Continuing to sharpen our mind, we learn techniques that help us memorize lines. We begin to feel more connected to the words on the page and this allows us to express them naturally.
Week 6: Acceptance
Finally, we explore what it feels like to accept our body, mind, and emotions completely. This final session connects us to a core part of ourselves and accepts it in all its forms.
